MAIL QUIT UNEXPECTEDLY WITH NEW OS X Mavericks

It is simply impossible to use the mail app. After opening and downloading messages, I get the following crash exception after selecting one single mail:

Exception Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT)

Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000

Application Specific Information:

*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '*** -redComponent not valid for the NSColor NSCalibratedWhiteColorSpace 0.25 1; need to first convert colorspace.'

abort() called

terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException

I had endless problems with mail cutting out but after a great deal of magnificent help from Apple and rebooting six times I found my "Tune my Mac" which I had used for several years, was corrupting my whole operation.

Once uninstalled everything reverted to perfection!

Hi!

"defaults delete com.apple.mail ColorQuoterColorList" didn't work out for me.

So, I fixed my mail app crash issue as below

1) Go to ~/Library/Mail/ (By right click at finder and choose "Go to Folder..." then type "~/Library/Mail/"

2) Back up ~/Library/Mail/V2 folder for your mailboxes.

3) Relaunch Mail

4) Sync all your e-mails again

5) If your old mail (only in local) is needed, import your back up mailbox. (Mail->File->Import Mailboxes)

Just want to tell you, then a got this problem with mail, and a friend tell me to write after openning terminal:

defaults delete com.apple.mail (without the "ColorQuotorClorList) and press "enter" and it is working.all tne messages was in the box but Mail was now configured by default...

I did this and it did not work for me. But my issue is not so much MAvericks. It's that I tried to manually set up an mail account incorrectly. Then I deleted it. Now when I try to set it up using the 'Exchange' option - it crashes ... PLEASE HELP!!

New iMac running 10.9.2

I'm getting an error when trying to print mail and mail crashes.

"Mail quit unexpectedly while using the EF460382 (FF) plug-in."

Any suggestions on the fix?
