System hangs when switching between apps in OS X Mavericks for 10-30 seconds

I keep getting a 404 error when I click on the download link on Logitech's site. The might be overloaded right now.

I was having the same problem. My computer would freeze for 10 to 15 seconds when switching between open applications. I uninstalled the Logitech Control Center and the problem is gone. Until Logitech releases and update, I will have limited use of my mouse and keyboard but the basic fuctions work fine.

I don't think it has anything to do with Mavericks, but with some technology in the MacBook Pros which was present but never used until latest versions of Apps. In my case it's chrome, when switching between apps too quickly.

You can tell it will freeze because it takes longer to switch.

It's that (faulty new technology released too soon) or a timer making computers to suddenly die so we buy another.

For me, latest Apple products are lasting less than before.

I used to own laptops and desktops until I sell them working like 4-6 years later, and this one has less than 4 and it's already crashing hard. (a rectangular piece of screen is filled with black and white squares, kind of one of those pixel noise codes to scan with the phone, but wider. Obviously something with the video card.
