Mavericks Finder Coverflow Gets Lost

I have upgraded to Mavericks, and I am having trouble with Coverflow in the Finder. When I delete files it gets lost, showing previews of files that are not the ones that are highlighted. The spacebar preview seems to work, showing me the actual contents, but the coverflow view is for a different file. Also, if there is a long list of files in the folder, it cannot display the files further down the list.

I was in the middle of a large project, going through thousands of photos in finder, when I upgraded. I had the perfect workflow, using coverflow, and it worked flawlessly in Lion. It seems this got boken in the update.

Any suggestions?

As I experiment more, the problem seems to be with expanded floders. If you compress and expand the folder again, the links get updated. This is an anoyance

I'm having the same issue. Super irritating. As a well-organized graphic designer (large amount of files and folders in folders), this is an incredibly hindering issue.

Same issue and same machine than you. Googling the issue shows almost no results. This has to be a more pervailant issue. Come on Apple.

I have the same problem since updating my iMac to maverics. very annoying! I really do hope this issue gets fixed in an update sometime soon.

Yes, I have also been having this problem.

One clunky solution is to use Quick Look to view the file. You can then scroll up and down from there.

However this should not be happening.

A fix is needed soonest

there are other problems too.. like Adobe Dreamweaver cs5 crashes
