Green Screen?!

Select your green-screen footage and then click the Adjust button in the upper right of the iMovie window.then click the video overlay settings button on the far left of the Adjustment options that appear and choose Green/Blue Screen from the drop down menu.

For the life of me I still can't find the green screen option. I've selected my video, clicked "Adjust" on the top right, and then clicked the far left button from within the "Adjust" options. I've clicked all the options in that row. None are green screen. Can't find it anywhere.

So I got it to "work" thanks to your advice. But...the green screen function is so bad, it's unbearable...unless I'm missing a whole panel of settings (I don't think I am)...the previous iMovie did a much better green screen chroma key, whereas with this new version, it's the worst-looking thing I've ever seen. Any tips or is this just the best I'm going to get with iMovie? I have Final Cut Pro and the chroma key/green screen feature works fine with this same clip, but I'd prefer iMovie since it is a very quick and easy program.

So I've got the problem that using a green scren in a video, ¡Movie automatic uses the blue. Can I solve it?

I am in a similar state of confusion with this latest version of iMovie. I had no problems with previous versions. I want to record videos for the university where I teach, and I want to record me speaking in front of the school logo. I know about recording the video of me talking in front of the green screen. The school logo is a jpg. In previous versions of iMovie, this was easy to do to create the green screen effect. But now, I am not clear on several issues. First, iMovie sents the default time for a slide (jpg) at 4 sec, and I can't for the life of me find how to change that. Second, I will need 4-5 minutes of jpg to go replace the green; how do I do that in iMovie for Mavericks? Copy and paste at 4 sec a pop gets very old very fast. It would be a little less troublesome if I were narrating a Keynote presentation - then at least I would already have the timing down - but often that is not a reasonable option. Unless I need to just copy my jpg logo onto multiple Keynote slides, but that seems dumb. Third, I am not clear which needs to go on top of what. With the old iMove it was easy. Do I select the video (me in front of the green screen) as primary and then copy the jpg on top of that? Or do I selec the jpg and copy the video on top of that?

I appreciate the assistance here. I have quite a few of these to do in the very near future and I don't really have time to experiment.
