Hello I have a macbook pro 2,2

and I was wondering whether this can be updated to mavericks or not...right now this one only has 1gb ram, but I can put it more if worth for...Mavericks will a nice chance to update memory. let me know where I can see if this one can be updated to mavericks.

Sorry, but that is not correct, isn't it? That macbook pro 2,2 is within this requirement: "MacBook Pro (15-inch or 17-inch, Mid/Late 2007 or later)"

Aargh, greetings; Did you read the Apple link which I provided carefully? It is NOT a late 2007 MBP. The OPs unit, a 2.2 MBP, can only accept Lion as the most recent OS.
