I hate the new tags in Mavericks, need coloured folders!!

Is there a way to return the colour folders when using the new tags like the old behavior of labels? These new circle thingees are too small and barely noticable.

What Is the software name for labels that work on Sierra? Without having to disable SIP? My last purchased software was only good until El Capitan.

There are XtraFinder (free) and Total Finder. But both require an SIP exception in 10.11 or 10.12 in order to run.

csrutil --without debug

This command allows Finder code injection. Haven't been able to determine just how serious a security risk this is. For the time being, I am not running XtraFinder in 10.11.
