Can't open Preview/Calendar/App store/iBooks/Terminal/Mail after updated to Mavericks

After I updated to Mavericks, I can not open Preview, Dictionary, App Store, iBooks, Keynotes, Photobooth, Quicktime, Contact, Calender, etc...

Mail keeps crashing everything I opened it.

iTunes and Safari is still working. Can someone tell me what's happening and how to solve my problem? Thanks a lot!

BTW, I remeber this symptom happened after I used Cleanmymac.

I called Apple, and after a good explanation and follow up of what I should do, I managed to fix the problem.

What to do to fix it:

  • Reboot and hold cmd+R (get's your mac in recovery mode)
  • Select Reinstall OS X, then click Continue.
  • Follow the onscreen instructions. In the pane where you select a disk, select your current OS X disk
  • DONE!

I wont be using CleanMyMac anymore I think.. (think CMM has caused me this problem)

Here a quick guide of a reinstall of Maverickx (this won't delete anithing of your personal files or apps!

OS X Mavericks: Reinstall OS X

Hope it helps!

Kind Regards!
