Can you give us some more information please?

Was your 10.9 installation an upgrade from a previous version, like 10.8?

And was the Ricoh working fine on this previous OS?

Have you tried removing the printer from Print & Scan and adding it again?

Does this printer support Bonjour, meaning that it appears in the Default view of the Add printer window, or do you have to add it using one of the IP protocols and entering an IP address?

My 10.9 was upgraded from mountain lion. It worked perfectly just yesterday stil....

I think 10.9 is too new and there still no driver support for the printers, mine one is Ricoh C2550 ... have to wait and Apple could solve it quick...

I will try to remove and add again and see if it help?

The printer is shown in the printer list, just can't print when I selected. Also , it appeared a bar to search such printer driver and told me that to get it from the manufacturer...

It is strange that as 10.9 won't have big change, I don't understand why the printer driver is not supported? Does it means other printer brands has printing problem?

Checking the Ricoh web site, there is a PPD installer available for 10.8. In order to use this PPD, you would need to have a Postscript print kit in the Ricoh, which appears to be an option. So do you know if your printer has the Postscript option installed? If it does, then you can use the 10.8 PPD installer.

Hi, many thanks for your help, here is the outcome:

I reboot the my macbook pro again, the documents could be printed now. But it did show the printer box and ask my to update the driver software but still the same no updated driver.

I didn't install the 10.8 PPD, it is a bit strange... Anyway, whatever works, I think the upcoming updates may solve the problems. Thanks for your help again.

Btw, I found another interesting changes in the newest Pages. I used a lots of Pages in my daily works, I found the new Pages come with some unsupported function and here is the problem.

I will create lists and tables in the Pages documents, I used to put my company logo, name and contact on header area, so every page of my document will show the same thing. I found the new Pages could only allow to put text in header, it can't insert logo (e.g.jpg, gif or png). This is strange and very inconvenient, I don't know it could be done by other method? Or, it is just a error?

I tried to use the previous Pages , it still can do, could Apple make this back ? Why they take this function out btw???

Is this problem only happening with Pages or with all applications?

As I mentioned before, if the Ricoh supports the Postscript printer language then you could create a new printer in Printers & Scanners but use the Generic Postscript driver included with 10.9. Then see if you can print without the same problem.
