Since upgrading to Maverick Preferences for snaps pro does not show the hot key and I cannot find how to enter hot key. Have used this from the start of snaps. Help would be appreciated. Have been waiting for response from Ambrosia.
Yes. Double-click Snapz Pro X's file in your application's folder. From its window (its main dialog box) choose Preferences and you will get the following dialogue box:
Click the mouse pointer in the hot key field and simply press the key or key combination that you want to use to invoke SnapZ. As you can see, I use SHIFT+CMND+5 Dismiss the dialogue box and press those keys. Snapz's main dialog box will open and allow you to press a button to choose what sort of clip you want. Then either draw a frame around the clip (Selection) or click on an already open window (Objects), or press Screen. It works on Mavericks and Yosemite. Ambrosia don't pay attention to help requests, in my experience.
Emailed Ambrosia Support, October, 2015: Suddenly NO video recorded off the display.
Soon received email back:
What version of Snapz are you using and what are you trying to capture, DVD? |

I responded immediately. They subsequently disappeared forever. No more emails and no phone calls answered. And they are a neighbor. LOL.
