How do I change the apple id to update apps from Appstore on mac

Hi, can somebody please help me?

Last time, I was using my father's apple id for the appstore on my macbook pro. (Now, i have my own apple id.) Sometimes when there's apps that i want to update, a window would pop out to ask me to sign into my father's apple id, but i want to update the apps using my own apple id. Is there anything i could do to use my own apple id to update the apps? Please help me!

So I called AppleCare Support. All you have to do is delete the app and re install it again. It will show your new account to log in and install it.

Easy. Just uninstall the app and reinstall it again on the app store, and the app store will ask your new apple id instead of asking your old apple id password

1.) Open App Store

2.) Click on Store at top of settings bar

3.) Click view my account

4.) Click reset all warnings for buying and downloading

5.) Your all done!! Go update!

Open the App Store click on purchased. It will say must sign in to view purchased then it will allow you to edit the account name. Worked for me at least.
