All of a sudden trying to fill out a shipping doc in FedEx Ship Manager is very slow. Each letter typed ends up with athe spinning beach ball for 5 or 6 seconds. Safari version Version 6.1 (8537.71). Never had an Safari issue before with this site and Firefox works fine. (Ended up using FF to get the shipment done)
Any ideas what is going on?
Thanks for the info Svetloslav, sounds like Apple couldn't even be bothered to beta for basic functionality for this update. Be nice if they would step up and offer a fix sometime soon.
As a follow up, it looks like Java update V1.0 2013-005 is NOT the problem. I updated to Safari 6.1 (on Mountain Lion) without this Java update and the problem still occurs.
Having the same problem in Safari with the Fedex Ship manager. I switched to Firefox on the same machine and the problem did not occur. subscribed to thread.😟
Same problem here, started happening yesterday. Fedex says their system is a-ok, and not to use Safari when logging in. Apple should fix this.
you are definitely on the right track - I am experiencing the same issues with phpmyadmin text input fields
We are having this exact same problem as well. It isn't isolated to FedEx.
We use Magento shopping cart and the problem exists in the "Create New Order" section in the backend.
10.9.1 claims to fix the fedex and other problems. I tried it and it seems much better.
10.9.1 fixed it for me as well 🙂
The lastest os update (10.9.1) has fixed the Safari - Fedex slooooowdown for me. 😎 It was only a problem in Safari, Firefox always worked fine.
