Can I disable the bar at the bottom of the page? It's the new bar that has a shortcut to music, volume, brightness, settings, etc. it's annoying. Whenever I try to scroll upwards it appears. Ugh!!!!!

To be clear about it, you cannot totally disable to, but you can turn it off when you are using apps via the method that Diavonex is describing above. The Control Center will still be available on the home screens.
