pegasus drive and mavericks

I've upgraded to mavericks but 24 hours later my Pegasus R Series Thunderbolt drive doesn't appear on my desktop. If I look in System Report it is listed under Thunderbolt devices, but it doesn't show up in the Finder window. Any clues?

My Pegasus2 has just been replaced by Promise RMA.

It still doesn't work.

On my Mac Book Pro 2010 it's not bootable and not detectable during boot. But otherwise, after booting it mounts on the Finder's Desktop and it is recognised by the Promise Utility.

But on my Late 2013 Mac Pro, since the SMC Update 2.0, it's only listed in the SystemProfiler. It's not detected by the Promise Utility and not mounted on the Finder's Desktop, and of course it's not bootable or detectable during boot.

Please Apple, do something for us, big users of the new Thunderbolt utilities.

I've got the same problem as arnobeck. But his solution didn't do anything for me.

Just setting up a nMP. Pegasus R4 doesn't mount. It appears in the System Report as a recognised/named device on the Thunderbolt Bus, but it just doesn't mount/appear on desktop. Promise Utility is installed but also doesn't seem to see the drives. I've just run a system re-install (Mavericks of course), and it made no difference whatsoever.

Anyone got any insights.

Guys, perhaps this helps:

info: MacMini Server Late 2012, model 6.2, OS X 10.9.2 server, 2 x 256 SSD mirror raid with Pegasus R4, firmware 5.04.0000.36.

Problem: R4 doesn't appear on desktop, but is visible in Disk Utility and also from the terminal or carbon copy cloner. After some research i've downloaded Onyx, and changed the visibility of the volume to visible. It's visible on the desktop right now. I had an R6 with exactly the same problem (OS X bug?) After formatting hthe R6 it appeared, so that was strange. Look like the volume has the invisible-bit set.

Hope this helps.
