iOS 7 microphone

please i have this problem, can anyone help

Same problem since I updated to IOS7. Surely Apple need to face facts and sort this out!

And what did Apple tell you when you contacted them?

Amen brother. The only thing I've heard that you can do is use an external mic using the headphone jack. I'm certainly not going to pay Apple to fix a problem that I'm 99% sure the update to iOS 7 caused in the first place.

Someone suggested reset but this didn't work. They also suggested restore after backing up to iTunes but I haven't tried this yet.

Tried that. Still nothing.

I fixed the problem by resetting the device from Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset all settings.

Tried that, still nothing. Suppose I will have to pay to have it fixed or just do without. Have to say I'm disappointed in something so expensive to have this problem.

I tried this but it didn't work either.

I still have the same problem. I am going into the Apple Store tomorrow. I will let you know how I get on. The problem wasn't there until I updated to IOS7.

Sorry not solved.

I was told I could send it off for repair but this would cost around £290 so won't be doing that. I still think it is connected to when I upgraded to IOS7. Haven't given up yet

I think your right, I have noticed little glitches with iOS 7 like my iPad is slower in general, my drop down notifications don't seem to work ( And they are turned on in settings ), opening apps tend to freeze for a moment when opening, ect.

I had none of these problems with iOS 6. Anyway If I find out anything new on my end I will let you know.
