I agree with the people that are considering, that if there are some improvements, Quicklook is still slooooower than it was with Lion. It's still not Quicklook, but Slowlook.

Same behavior when opening a folder like Application the first time during a session, the file icons are appearing one by one, when it was instant previously with Lion.

There are also some slight improvements in this area, but it's reallu not instant.

All of this is giving to the user a not some good user experience.

The system appears to be slow and not that responsive.

Downgrade to 10.8.5 slove this problem.. It is only one solution for now. I am so happy now. Before I try update by dev 10.9.2 but no result. Mac preview is great app in combinaton whith ps6. I am using it for check image before editing in ps6 or delete (cmd+backspace) it is realy fast and productive. Usual I have a lot of RAW images (d600) in preview at once. Using another app like Arc Soft Photo Viewer is not bat idea easier than downgrade...

Bummer! It was free for a limited time when I posted it. I actually paid for it a month or so ago... I think it was $9.99

Worth the $10 if your a photographer going through a lot of images. If you're a casual photographer going through a small amount of work, then it's not neccesary. Just hit your space bar for quick look, which seems to be relatively OK with the update 🙂
