Smart notebook software does not work

I have installed Mavericks and now my Smart Notebook software does not load. What to do?

OS X Mavericks (10.9), Smart Notebook

Yes, I use Mavericks. I use Smart Notebook every day and despite the odd crash or unexpected behavior it has worked fine since uninstalling and reinstalling. Using a newish macbook pro.
