Hi, this seems kind of weird and I hope I can get some help.
My name is Jan and, every time I write that on a cell in numbers, it corrects to January as a date. How can I correct this?

Well Jan, Numbers thinks your name is a Date, simple as that. You can send a warning that you are not a Date, in the calendar sense, by starting your name with an apostrophe when you enter it. The apostrophe will disappear in the cell, and the cell will be formatted as Text.
