but neither of them have helped me to get the bootcamp work properly. Every time i try to modify this fie i get an error.

Please any help would be welcome.

Well firstly make sure that your windows .iso file is not corrupt/incomplete/not bootable etc. (try to boot the usb in windows pc if available)
Secondly, No bootable device problem comes when the usbdrive is not properly formatted or if the files are not properly copied while making it bootable. Use disk Utility to format it to FAT. And try to make it bootable now using the Bootcamp Assistant. And then try again. If still the problem comes, Use Bootcamp assistant to remove the windows bootcamp partition and restart it. And then repeat the process for partition and installion using Bootcamp Assistant.
Make sure you do not remove the usb drive in between the process.

Why do you need the Info.plist of Disk Utility?? 😕 Info.plist of BOOTCAMP ASSISTANT was to be edited for making bootable USB of windows.

I am not sure if this is same for every macbook model or any technical details regarding the disk utility.

Any way This is the original Info.plist content of Disk utility :

I didn't find solution, so i went to apple store, and asked them to install windows for me cause i dont have money to change my super drive, and they did replace with other optical drive, then they installed windows for me, then removed optical drive and put mine again, thats only which fixed my problem after i gave up searching for a fix and no luck

Nov 30, 2013 8:38 AM in response to teflove

Hi everybody, this solution has worked properly in my iMac 12,1 with Maverick.

As said in the recommendation, insert the two lines with the information absent and erase PRE.

In console type the command SUDO.....in my case, i had to download an install a needed Xcode.

Retype the command SUDO an resign the package Assistant boot camp...and....that is the option install W7 from usb.

Thank you very much for your help.
