OSX Mavericks Midi Quicklook No Longer Works

In OSX mountain lion, I used to be able to press the space bar and preview a midi file, which was convenient. Its now no longer supported O_o? You now have to open it in Logic X, it takes entirely too long and is very annoying. Anyone know of any fixes for this? PLEASE HELP or fix Apple

Just wanted to add: I had installed QT 7 from the Apple downloads previously because (1) I like it better than the current QT, (2) it does things that the current version doesn't, and (3) I had some old movie files that play in 7 perfectly well, but not in the newer-but-not-better QT Player. So I just tried a midi file and QT Player 7 launches almost instantly and plays the midi file just fine. Not quite as handy as Quick Look, but not bad.
