iMovie Imports .mov Files with Red Tint

Hello, I import my quicktime video to iMovie, only to find it red, and this has happened to all of my videos, does this show up when exported, or will it be normal? Also, how can I fix the red tint? I am using the newest iMovie on Mavericks

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Yeah, apple has somehow missed the fact that both of their video editors have an incompadabilty with .mov files AND OLNY .MOV FILES:

"

'There’s a strange glitch that gives all .mov files a red tint when imported into Apple’s movie creator'

How the **** did they miss that!?"

I don't know if this helps solve the problem, but I also have this problem importing a screen cap into both Final Cut Pro and iMovie. Maybe this means it's not just iMovie
