iMovie Imports .mov Files with Red Tint

Hello, I import my quicktime video to iMovie, only to find it red, and this has happened to all of my videos, does this show up when exported, or will it be normal? Also, how can I fix the red tint? I am using the newest iMovie on Mavericks

Things had been running along fine the last few days... but now I am seeing the "red video" bug on my retina MacBook Pro!

I was trying to do a screen recording using the following steps:

- I temporarially set the screen resolution to Scaled > Larger Text

- Using QuickTime Player I recorded a new Screen Recording

- Saved the file to the Desktop

- I set the screen resolution back to "Best For Display"

(The resulting video played fine from the Finder, but...)

- Opened iMovie and imported the movie and it looked like it had a red filter over it!

The original video still looks fine (viewing directly from the finder). And is also fine in iMovie 9.
