First, after updating to Mavericks,
the books that I purchased were not visible on the iBooks for Mac, only on my iPhone.
Later on, they appeared on their own with the iCloud sign but I cannot downlaod them because it says "Computer not Authorized"
How can I authorize my computer?
This doesn't make any sense..
How would they appear in the first place if my computer is not authorized?
open ibooks on your computer, then go to 'store' on the menu bar and click 'authorize this computer', sign in and you should be all set.
I am having the same issue, but in following your directions (my "store" says iBooks Store) I get to the store, but can find nothing that says "Authorize This Computer."
Scratch that. I must have an older/newer version of iBooks, as there is a pull down menu bar I did not see previously and the Authoize This Computer command is in one of the pull-downs.
