FCPX 10.0.9 does not export since Mavericks Update

I had 10.0.9 running on Mountain Lion and everything was fine. After I updated to Mavericks FCPX won't export anymore (Apple 720 and 1080). The "Share" percentage goes straight up to 10% but then stays there and nothing happens. My MBP does not go slow or gets warm like it usually does while rendering. FCPX creates a TEMP file for the export, but leaves it unchanged at 48 Bytes for hours.

Apart from that FCPX works fine in Mavericks, but I will have to export the projects at some point, as my clients are waiting...

Anyone experiencing the same problem? All other threads with Mavericks issues where along the lines of "update FCPX". As I am running 10.0.9 already, I can't solve with an update...

Thanks for the clear instructions Louis. I'm ignorant about computers in general so your easy instructions helps. My previous efforts after Mavericks, FCPX jumped to 10% before shortly after giving me the error -50. But now I followed your instructions and it started at 1 % and slowly moving up which is a positive change at least. Thanks again and I'll update you.

Too many errors for me to find and replace.

I've been re-doing the same video from the same source, using iMovie 10 and not a single problem. I'm half way through so I'll use iMovie instead.

I never had a problem is 6 months of exporting video files in FCPX and since Mavericks I can't export anything or it's not worth my time fixing and replacing frames. Amazingly, for myself, iMovie 10 performs better as well. It has much less slowdown.

Thanks again Louis

It would be so great if people who are having problems would start new threads, giving their system specs. project info, symptoms, and what they've done to far to fix their issues.

We don't all have the same systems. the same plug-ins, work with the same media and what works for one person does not necessarily work for another.

And as a kind of bonus, the OP gets more individual attention.

Sorry Tom, I was a bit hesitant with the 10.0.9 update after reading other people's problems but after i updated FCPX it works perfectly fine now, thanks. Not sure why other people are experiancing problems with it.. The only gripe I have now is it crashes a few times...

I have the latest version of FCPX and I'm having all sorts of trouble. Since Mavericks I have not been able to export any new or old projects. Just yesterday I redid an video exclusive 30 min movie on iMovie 10 and it worked flawlessly. I've tried all advice given on this thread including a few other threads for no postitive result. I called Apple support which took me mostly through what was advised by helpful post-ers here - still no result.

I just now trashed preferences, deleted FCPX, reinstalled FCPX and tried to export, only for the same -50 error only a couple of minutes into exporting a new and old video file.
