Just Installed Maverick today. But, when I open Safari the web page loads so that it is so high on the screen that I cannot see my toolbar. How can I set things so that every web page will open so that the toolbar is always there?

Just to test something really basic, can you press these keys, all at the same time?
Command, Control, and the letter " f " key.
It could be that your Safari started out in Full Screen mode. If so, that 3-key combination will untoggle it.
Thanks Bee, I tried that and it wasn't the issue. The computer seems to be normal today, including Safari, maybe it just took some time for the Maverick upgrade to cycle through or something.
So glad you're sorted now, Patrick. Maybe you restarted Safari or your Mac?
Or maybe it was a weird phase of the moon, LOL.
