How do i change the font in the Titles that come with the new iMovie?

That's a great tip, but it doesn't appear to work (Mavericks 10.9.1, iMovie 10.0.2).

Yes I can change the font, style and colour when editing, after having brought up the Font window, just as you said, but as soon as I click away from the title, it reverts back to its default style. 😟

Someone else pointed this out.

I tested on my computer. I am able to change the font even after clicking away to another task. But I experienced the same "sad" results when attempted rendering the video.

I have not been back to an Apple store yet to ask them again about this problem.

Thus far, seems like a bug and the recent update (last week) did nothing to fix it.

It's obviously a bug because if I click on the title again, all the changes are still present (different style and colours), but when I play it back, bam! back to plain ol' boring white.

Moving from iMovie 6 to 7 was better than this! 😟

I just found out that the first sixteen titles are not editable. The rest appear to be editable.

Why? I do not know. Apple violated the first rule of any handy-man: 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it.'

finally, apple listen, put out a fix, I did not check yet, let see.

Two things:

1. I have not tested this new version 10.0.3, but in the previous version, in 'Titles,' the first 16 you could not change anything, in the ones after the first 16 you can.

2. If I had a dollar for every time I wrote this, I could afford to buy Final Cut Pro:

If you have a bug report, I urge you strongly to go to the iMovie Feedback section (under 'iMovie' in the menubar), and file your report there. It is a small chance, very small, that Apple may take note. But it is 100% guaranteed that they won't notice what anyone writes in these forums.
