Pictures in camera roll go white when clicked on?

Turning off the filter effect fixed the problem on our 4S. Thanks for the tip.

Seanag32 has the fix. Turn photo effects off when taking pics.

That's not a fix,it's just avoiding a functionality. Then not using the camera is also a fix.

My daughter and I have the same issue. I used the fix from Pouya.Bostani, but tried just using the auto enhance instead of rotating it and it worked. Hope this helps, Good Luck all.

I have a 4S and noticed this "white-out"issue only when I use the "transfer" or "chrome" photo effect when taking pictures. After reading a few corrects on here, I edited my pics with a tiny crop or cropped them as needed, after the edit they were no longer white. Hope this helps. Apple pease fix!!!!

My camera roll has almost 400 pictures that are pulling white in thumbnail. When I try to access, all I get is "loading" with no ability to edit to try to correct this. Help?

I am having the same issue. I find it troubling that this issue has gone on for so long and Apple still has not issued a fix.

This worked!! Thanks a ton. However, instead of rotating it, I just clicked edit on each white photo, and then reverted the photo back to the original! Fixed the issue!! Thanks again
