Connection on Airplay keeps dropping, suspect caused by IOS 7

I had no problem playing movies from either iPad 2 or iPhone 4s before the IOS upgrade.
But recently the connection seems dropping evey few minutes when playing movies from on device.😢

Anyone has any problem lately?

So I have got it to be very stable, bought the Apple Extreme Router (worth every penny). I find it very stable when I do not use mirroring and extrememly stable when I just play Music from my itunes etc.

Less stable when I try to mirror Slacker Radio or such but better when I do not move around the device that is being mirrored.

The Apple Extreme Router is amazing tech with directional antennas. The device optimizes the signal to the device it is communicating with by analyzing the best path from the four antennas it has. Further it has the new 802.11AC standard which doubles the bandwith of 802.11N as more and more new devices (like next gen Apple products) use it. It is essentially 2 "N" channels. And did I mention it is a cool looking typical Apple design that you would be proud to have in plain sight on your desk? Well it is lol

Follow up on one solution---

A couple days later I decided to turn on the airport wireless of my iMac 27" where my iTunes lives, that is also hooked in via ethernet to my FIOS router.

Droppage and all the other problems in my post above were instantly solved. While Airplay is supposed to be able to work through the Wi-Fi router it performs very poorly in my case. But switching on the iMac's seems to create a reliable connection.

I had a problem with my Apple TV dropping the connection to my ipad. I posted the issue on here and had many answers but still had the issue.

I discovered the problem and resolved it by accident.

I was using a wireless extender as we live in an old cottage to boost the wifi signal. The Apple TV was tuned into this but what I isn't realise was that after several minutes it would automatically change the network to pick up the signal form the main router!

Please note that it made no difference if I wired the Apple TV to the ext router!

I resolved the issue by relocating both the router and the extender and voila, now it works a treat.

Hope this helps someone

I am having the issue with my iPad 4 when attempting to airplay at my home. My wife has the same model of iPad, both completely updated, and she does not have an issue of the airplay dropping. On the other hand, I can use airplay for hours at a friend's house with little, or rarely a problem. There seems to be no regularity to my issue other than my iPad seems to have the issue at home between 5 and 8 PM while my wife does not have an issue. We have an Apple TV 3, also fully updated. It is not a network problem as everything else works great on my network and my wife's is air playing just fine. Apple TV is hooked up to Internet via wifi, not hard wired. Any other suggestions?

Yesterday I bought an Apple TV and airport express, both devices mainly for streaming music. I hooked everything up and got it all working using my iPhone 4S (iOS 7) and iPad 3 (iOS 7).

Airplay from my MacBook and iPhone work perfectly but every so often, at different time intervals, my iPad drops the airplay connection.

It would seem there is not much one can do about it is there? My wifi network is up and running perfectly, my wired devices are connected perfectly... Only my iPad has issues when using airplay to either the airport express or Apple TV.
