Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

After install, iTunes does not open at all.

I installed Mavericks on my 2011 Macbook Pro the other day. Everything went well and everything seems to be working normally except iTunes.

When I click on it in the dock, the icon bounces a few times, or just once, but then nothing else happens. It never opens. Same thing when I click on it directly from the applications folder.

Any ideas?

Had same problem, i.e. iTunes just jumping a couple of times after migration to Mavericks. Did not even know how to diagnose like described above. Did not even know how to see what my current iTunes version was.

However, yesterday I noticed that update 11.1.3 was available so I thought installing that one might provoke some error messages giving some visibility of what might be the problem. It did more that that - it fixed the problem - so now iTunes works again with all the data migrated by the Migration assistant.

After install, iTunes does not open at all.
