i have just bought a macbook pro retina late 2013. I was wondering how much pressure can the screen take???????

Same as the MacBook Air, be careful, don't ever pack it in a backpack with other things.
There is no established quantified pressure for same as tolerance.
More than a very soft pressure from a microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints is too much
Thing is My friend threw my headphones to me while I was sitting at the computer and when I grabbed it my Finger got the screen and now sometimes using the computer there appears a white thin short horizontal line for a second then disappears??
a temporary change in screen color is normal for a strike to the screen of an LCD
however to verify there isnt an actual crack in the screen, bring up a WHITE page where the strike occurred and look closely (even with a magnifier for any line).
If the pixels are all smooth with no colored line then youre fine. 😊
Thats a normal temporary pressure mark on an LCD screen. Barring a crack in the LCD display, which you already disproved by testing, it wont reappear.
To the Apple store for this occurrence? No, nothing can be done and better yet youre fine. 😊
be careful around fragile LCD displays.
You said you verified a very close (hopefully with a magnifier) look with varying background colors at the point of impact that there was no color variation as indicative of a hairline crack.
So, AFTER the impact, the white line has appeared 3 times since?
If that is the case you have a hairline crack that you missed upon close inspection or actual, but rare, LCD damaged that didnt manifest an actual crack.
in which case make appt. with Apple on your display. If there IS a crack you missed at inspection or genuine LCD damage, there is no way to fix that, the display would have to be replaced.
sorry i wasnt very clear. this is what happend.
as i sad my hand got to the computer screen at that point nothing was wrong(no white lines). everything was just normal. then the day after using it the computer nothing happend asweell it was all clear(no white lines on). 3:d day using it the lines appeard 3 times . so iam not very sure that i caused the screen behave like that because after the hit nothing seemed wrong with the screen. and iam using the computer now(the lines appeard few hours ago) and its been a while since the white lines happend again.
problem with short horizontal line was introduced in lat 2013 handup/freeze.
It might be hardware not your fault problem or software.... i would go to apple for warrenty.
i did as u asked and i dont see anything wrong. but waht if the white line appears again shoud i go to a apple store or this problem is temporery?
but it did appear 3 times before today. should i still be worried?
