My iTunes will play all of the music I have, however, when I sync it to my phone, it completely skips out the part where it syncs the music. The music still shows on my phone, but when I press the track to play, it skips through all of the tracks really fast without playing anything. The only music that I can actually play are tracks that I have bought from iTunes. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

It seems to be that iTunes disables the little tick box on the Music tab of the iPod page. Go onto there, as it may well be unchecked, as it was for me. It's a real problem when the monopolising company starts to become stupid and things don't work.
Well Ive tried everyhting that's been suggested here, but nothing would help.
Problem is: Music syncs just fine.. EXCEPT for a recently purchased album.
Get this: All my random music gets synced perfectly. But the album that I actually bought on itunes won't sync AT ALL, no matter what I try. I even turned on "show all music" and tried to download every track manually, but it just won't do that..
I'm absolutely clueless on how to commence..
1-Make sure the sidebar is turned on
2-Plug in device
3-click on the iDevice that you need to sync
4-Select the option that says "Convert files to 128kb aac"
Media should begin to sync no issues

Hey There! I've had the same problem with my music, especially with the skipping through the tracks really fast thing. I think all you need to do is turn off "Show All Music" in the music settings. It worked for me, hope it does for you to.
iTunes won't sync music.
