"this accessory may not be supported" iOs 7.0.3

Since updating to iOS 7.0.3 I've getting a prompt "this accessory may not be supported" after a few minutes charging.

Charging then stops and I've unplug the cable and reconnect, then hopefully get another 5 minutes before the message appears again. The phone is pretty much unusable now as I can't get it charged. Only using genuine apple cables (have tried 4 seperate cables) and have tried charging both via the wall and the laptop, but the result is the same.

Need a solution for this ASAP.

Hey everyone,

Try THIS if you have an iMac and powered USB port. Normally, I plug in my iPad to my iMac. One day, while cleaning, I disconnected the cables to both, and when I plugged everything back in, I plugged in the iPad to the powered USB port. Wasn't working. The "May Not Be Supported By This Device" window appeared on the iPad. Just out of curiosity, I unplugged the USB cable from the powered USB port and plugged it into the iMac.

Problem solved.

Hope this helps some of you.

This is a power level issue. I first saw this message when I connected my iPhone 3G to my Bose docking station back in 2009. The docking station connection was not equipped to charge the iPhone. More recently I see it when connected to my Hyundai Santa Fe but the message only appears when the device is fully charged. It appears once the device tells the car that it is fully charged, the car stops feeding power to the device. That triggers the software on the phone to detect insufficient power coming in the connector causing the message to appear.

That said, this message *****. It reminds me of some of the Microsoft error messages - technically accurate but not very informative.
