Ipad Air yellow screen tint on left hand side?

The yellow wouldn't be as bad if it was at least uniform across the screen but mines half white half yellow, horrible.

Returned my Air. Since I need an iPad badly...I'll wait till the end of Nov. and buy me a iPad mini2...

You know that part of the screen of ipad mini 2 is also made by Sharp. I am afraid it might be the same.

The more I think about this the more I'm thinking about skipping this gen. I have a 4 and a mini that still work very well and have perfect screens. Just not worth the hassle of a screen lottery.

Surprisingly the yellow tint at the left of mine has disappeared. However, I still have a blue tint at the top right of the screen.

Still, it's a huge improvement over the first few days of use.

Hi guys I got a refund on my ipad last week due to the yellow tint screen, would you guys say it's safe for me to buy a new one now from apple or should I wait?

I don't think so. There were still the same batch on Friday in the Apple Store in Hong Kong.

There is no glue on the screen as it isn't attached to anything, that rumour comes from the Iphone which is glued to the glass, the Ipad screen sits back from the glass so isn't glued..

Wait until at least after xmas and make sure you look at the screen before leaving the store.

I doubt the magnets explaination. Because ipad mini also has the same design, but it doesn't have such display defect.

Just wait...don't do the lottery now, if you have other old gen iPad to use
