Ipad Air yellow screen tint on left hand side?

Smart cover magnets are on the right. The logic board with all the chipsets are on the left.

So I guess if someone disassemble the screen with the cable still pluged in, and turn on the ipad, the issue would be solved.

Haven't the US journalists reported this? I don't think keeping doing lottery is a good choice, because actually none of the ipad air is no problem, they have screen defect, just more or less.

Do Apple employees read these forums do we know?..........hopefully even if they don't respond it will register.

Well, it seems unlikely since it hasn't got any coverage in e-media (9to5mac, macumors etc). I hope 200+ replies and almost 20000 views at only this thread should attract attention.

If Apple do know about this they won't acknowledge it publicly it will be a tightening up of QC at factories in private and in a few months the problem will disappear.

Based on my experience, I got a worse one today....Yellower and home botton is louder 😕

Hi, I think you are too optimistic. The yellow tint issue differs from unit to unit, there won't be any software that can fix this.
