Ipad Air yellow screen tint on left hand side?

Yep, we are talking about the same thing. I asked one time and that's what the Genius called it – "white box replacement." The replacement unit comes in a plain white box without any fancy packaging.

Yes, in Barcelona, genius and me open a refurbished/ white box and the iPad Air 32 Gb have the left side of the screen yellow too. :-(

There goes that idea of purchasing a refurbished iPad Air hoping that it would be gone through with a fine-tooth comb to correct any imperfections.

Looks pretty decent to me. Not even really any light bleed. I have a screen on my air that is pretty uniform like that but it has more light bleed on black screens unfortunately.

I did a exchange that has been accepted because of that and the guy at the store said they're aware of the issue... How many Air did you exchange?

I think 4. I live 3 hours from the nearest Apple store, so they've all been at different Walmarts in my area. It would be great if this was an isolated initial hardware revision issue.

Thanks for sharing the links. I have provided Apple feedback about the discoloration issue. I have not heard back from them yet; it's going on day two since I've contacted them.

Don't hold your breath waiting for Apple to repond to any criticism.

Production week 34. Sounds like they re now flowing the market with refurbished units. I'd be really curious to know how many iPad Airs they'd had to replace since it's release in November.
