it is possible to connect at the new Ma Pro an Screen Eizo Color Edge CG 243W, or is this model to old for the new computer?

The display has DisplayPort, so all you neded is a Mini Displayport to DisplayPort cable to connect it to a Thunderbolt port on the Mac Pro.

It also has DVI, so you could connect it to the Mac Pro's HDMI port with a HDMI to DVI cable.

Mini DisplayPort or DisplayPort will handle the full resolution. HDMI to DVI is single-link DVI, so limited to 1920 x 1200.


If your Mac Pro has only DVI, you can use a DUAL-LINK DVI cable. Note that early Mac Pros with the nVIDIA 7300 have one single-link and one dual-link DVI port. If you use the single-link port you will not get full resolution.
