how do I find phone number to call to get support for my new ipad air?
I cant find it on the apple site
I know I paid for apple care, but gee, where is the phone number
I put in my serial number and it says product not supported on online chat
I need the phone number please

thanks, i remember on other units, I used to key in my serial number and checked off what type of support I wanted
and I was given screen with phone number and I could call them or they would call me back
I dont see that I did go to apple support contact apple support
but it doesnt have option for general questions and I cant find a place to do that
I will call the 800 number and see if that helps.

I can find it on old old ipad under setting general
but cant find it on new ipad
do I have to activate it or something?

Why don't you ask your general questions here on the forums. That's what they are for when you cannot find an answer in the usual places like your user guide, and please get iPad and iPad mini User Guide (For iOS 7 Software)Sep 18, 2013 - 21 MB. Also, do a keyword search of the forums. Your questions have probably been answered many times already.
You cellular service is activated with the carrier. Contact them.

no one at apple store said I had to set up new ipad air for data plan, so I am confused
and I dont see it anywhere on the ipad air settings.
You must have a cellular service account somewhere. The carrier is the one to whom you iPad is now locked. You must activate the iPad itself, then make arrangements for your carrier to set you up with a service plan unless you already have one. Most carriers now do this directly online from their websites. That's how I set up my iPhone. The iPad can't be much different.

, seems they sold me the wrong ipad air there is a wifi only and as wifi cellular one
i need the wifi celluar one,,,,that is not the one they sold me
just spent an hour on the phone with my carrier trying to set it up
then we figured out I have the non cellular version of ipad air
