Ipad air low memory crash

I came to this forum to see if other ipad air owners are experiencing same problem with low memory crashing as I do but seems like I'm one of the few people have this. So far I have 10 low memory crash reports. I also have about 30 more crash reports but it's from various apps. I got my ipad air on the launch day, second in line, here in California. Maybe I just have a defective one, I don't know. If you have same issues, please reply so I can determine if I should return it or just live with it. Closing apps every day is a hassle. I wish Apple just put in extra gig of ram. Overall, I am extremely happy with my ipad. There are so many good this things to mention about this ipad but this is wrong thread to do that.

Definitely a malformed webpage (or too big of a webpage) with respect to Safari

I was hoping you had IOS6 on your iPad. I have started getting other crashes on this iPad. I never got crashes on my other iPad 4. I wonder if I got a bad unit this time...a little cherry on the top after my Air experience...hmmm

Continues to crash iPad 3, but after the first crash my iPhone 5s appears to open it without crashing ... CORRECTION ... High speed scrolling up and own will cause the page to crash

On the iPad 3 a button displays the option of viewing the mobile version. It scrolls side to side and does not crash, but does not display the millions of comments. It is absolutely a size thing.

Except that I just opened it for the third or forth time on my iPhone 5s and was able to scroll all the way down to the bottom and ten all the way back up without problem. So maybe it's a memory management thing(?)

Like you said, malformed AND too large a web page. Okay if you are using a PC or something with more memory, not okay for most iDevices...

Had my Air wiped clean and new hard wire install of iOS7 on Saturday morning at Genius Bar. I asked if I could get a refund if it continues to crash, the answer was affirmative. Yesterday was 30 days from purchase.

On arrival home connected to my WiFi and all my photos, bookmarks loaded from iPad 3 and iPhone 4S. Proceeded to load all my Apps one by one. Was on the Air for about 12 hours with no crashes. To early to say if it's fixed but I have my fingers crossed. Will report back if I get crashes..

The fact that it crashes on different hardware using ios 7 (ive seen ipad 3,4,air and iphone 5 and 5s) and the fact that the problem is reproducable on every of these devices means that is indeed a software bug...

Im my opinion, the new memory management features in IOS 7 are more restrictive and this cause a lot of problems....

I dont know why apple is offering replacement to fix this, it seems an easy solution to a problem they dont have any solutions yet....

Let's hope this will get fixed soon!

When you say " that it crashes on different hardware using ios7", I can only say for me personally, I had no crashes on iPhone 4S and iPad 3. Very pleasant experiences over the several years of ownership. When I got the Air, almost immediately I started seeing crashes and was very disappointed. That is why I thought the problem was related to the Air only.
