I can't delete apps that I don't want on my Iphone 5s. I tried Itunes and tried to hit remove and it does nothing. Help

Hold the app until it wiggles then tap the "x" on the top left
or
Settings > General > Usage > Select the app to delete > tap Delete App
You can not delete the stock iOS apps.

Just figured out how to delete apps on the new iphone. But any idea why we can't get rid of the stock app?
Make sure Deleting Apps is set to Allow in Restrictions:
Settings > General > Restrictions
You can also delete apps here:
Settings > General > Usage > select the app > Delete App
Stock app cannot be deleted.
