Bluetooth pairing the Nike Fuelband SE to Iphone 5?

I'm going to give it a few more days see if there is a Firmware upgrade released if there isn't I'm returning the band for a refund as it's too expensive to not do what it's supposed to and I'm not risking getting another faulty one

The Nike store in Paris helped me:As a last try we created a new Nike account, and it worked! In some cases, it looks like accounts are corrupted (mine was previously linked to a Fuelband 1.0, maybe there is a link ...). Try this !

Now I need to get back to my 350,000 fuel counter !

That may have worked for you -- but I think most everyone's problems here are that the band will not pair to the iPhone - before you even get to the app part of it. Basically, there needs to be a firmware update to the band so that it will pair via Bluetooth to an iPhone (it currently will pair with other phones just fine). Until then, app updates and other things don't seem like they will help.

I did every other steps, without success ! The Fuelband wasn't detectable after beeing associated to my old account (from any iPhone !) and was visible from the app only after I associate it to a new account !!

On the Fuelband + there is a pairing function this is to connect two devices together via the bluetooth interface the iphone detects the Fuelband and connects to it.

The Fuelband SE uses bluetooth 4 and doesn't have the pairing function this is done automatically once the iphone detects the Fuelband , BUT most people as I do stumble at when the iphone is trying to detect the Fuelband SE it's as if the Bluetooth isn't working on the band so any further authentication or app is useless it's why NIKE are telling us to sync via USB on the PC. It's either a simple firmware issue or a major Hardware fault

Its confirmed ..follow these steps:

1. Create New Nike+ Account

2. Factory Reset FuelBand

3. Delete app and reinstall from App Store

4. Turn Bluetooth on

5. Login to Nike FuelBand app

6. Within the app... it will connect. Enjoy!!

Has anyone heard if the FuelBandSE is compatible with iPhone 4? I have the latest iOS but having the same issues as many of you with it not being recognized

I've tried everything suggested here (reset to factory settings, soft re-boot iphone, deleted and re-installed new app, etc.) and even called tech support to help, but nothing works to pair my SE with the iPhone 5 or an iPhone 4S. Bluetooth can't even see the FuelBand when seeking a new device. It's got to be a firmware or hardware issue. So frustrating as this is my first FuelBand. 😠

What a shame for Nike. I ordered my fuel band at Oct. Waiting long time to this. Does Nike want really stupid? Tell people preorder them and got them with none working. The Bluetooth is not working completely. That's very disappointed with Nike pass the product without testing it. The product developer should be fired or Nike will go down. Lol.

We recently discovered an issue that prevented a small percentage of Nike+ FuelBand SE users from syncing via the FuelBand iOS app. We fixed this issue so you can connect your FuelBand to our iOS mobile app. Simply follow the steps below and you’ll be on your way:

1. Completely close the Nike+ FuelBand mobile app on your iOS device. Double-click the Home button, then either click the “X” on the app icon (iOS 6) or swipe the app preview up (iOS 7).
2. Plug your Nike+ FuelBand into your computer. Wait for your NikeFuel to sync and then perform a factory reset.
   • PC users: Click Here
   • Mac users: Click Here
3. Unplug the Nike+ FuelBand from your computer and walk a few steps to earn a bit of NikeFuel.
4. Open your Nike+ FuelBand mobile app and navigate to the home screen of the app.
5. Check that your Bluetooth icon is solidly lit. Walk a few steps with your Nike+ FuelBand to earn a little bit more NikeFuel and watch your NikeFuel total increase.

I tried it and it worked.

My band syncs with my phone now.

Adrrianapep91 thanks but nope iphone still does not find the band when I switch on bluetooth anyone else had success ?

I got the email with the updated instructions from Nike Support tonight as well, and to my surprise they worked. Finally got my Fuelband SE to pair and sync to my iPhone 5!
