forward them to an email or take a screenshot by tapping the home button and the lock button. Your device should make a picture taking sound and the screen should flash; check your camera roll and forward the picture 🙂

There are a number of programs you can get for your computer that will let you download your messages from your phone.

BackupTrans is one. iPhone Contacts & SMS Backup is another. DiskAid is yet another.

If you're using Messages on a Mac (an iMessage viewer made by Apple), you can click to select a conversation bubble (a single text), then scroll up or down and shift-click to select all the bubbles in that range. (you can also drag-click to select a range).

Then it's just a matter of copy-paste into a word or pages document. Photos come over too!

The only drawback is that dates/times of messages don't transfer.

Another option is to just do File > Print... and then select "save as PDF."

That doesn't work very well on an iPhone.

Ah, right, sorry about that. But it does work great from a Mac connected the same iCloud account. 🙂

Yes, the print to PDF function on a map is a favorite of mine.
