iPod nano (7th generation)
Ive done everything in the manual, but its just searching all the time... whenever i use other apple gadgets, it recognizes the bluetooth speaker..except for the ipod nano.. Ive tried 2 different ipod nanos, both cant connect..
What are you trying to connect with?
Keep in mind that if you have other iDevices within range of a BT speaker they will connect with it and your Nano will not see the speaker. Turn off BT on the other devices and try again.
Im trying to connect my ipod nano to a bluetooth speaker, all other devices are already turned off except for the speaker and the ipod nano
And have you placed the speaker in discoverable mode?
Yes i did., ive read discussions here that ipod nano has really a problem like that relative ti its blutooth. Is it true?
Mine has no problems pairing with any compatible BT A2DP or low power accessory at all, neither does my sister's. If your speaker is A2DP compatible, can save mulitple device profiles (how many can it hold?) and is going into discoverable mode then your Nano should recognize and pair with it. Unless your Nano has a hardware defect then you would need to use your warranty.
What make/model BT speaker is this?

Really?! , ive tried using my best friend's nano, same thing happens..
Beats bluetooth speaker..
The Pill or the larger one.
I've used mine with a Jambox, Large Jambox, UE 9000 BT headset, Sennheiser BT headset, Cadillac SRX, Lincoln MKZ. My sister also has used hers with Jaybirds and a UE portable BT speaker.
I believe the Pill will only save 2 pairings so if you are already using 2 devices with it you will have to clear out one pairing to add the Nano.
Just the dr. Dre mini beats blutooth speaker
I do know those are only BT 2.1 but I cannot find the manual for them on the Beats support site. You could try clearing all pairings from the speaker and try again. Or go to a Best Buy and try to pair your Nano with a different unit there.
Ok thanks so much deggie
Yes its just bluetooth 2.1. Does it mean its not compatible with my nano?
