My screen is black
My daughters ipad mini screen is just black. When she presses the home button, Siri works but there is no screen.

Screen curtains may have been enabled on accident. You might try triple-tapping with three fingers on the screen.
If VoiceOver is on and the screen is black, but you can still use the device by pressing volume up and volume down, you may have screen curtain on. Try triple-tapping using three fingers on the device display to turn off screen curtain. Or connect the device to iTunes (see above).

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
