Safari inverts webpages

Since the update, occasionally I have a problem where Safari will flip webpages upside down.

It's not a clean flip, instead I'll start to scroll, then there will be some running images at the top and bottom, then as I move the cursor around the webpage, pieces of it will invert top to bottom.

I can't reproduce it at will, sadly.

It's the darndest thing I've ever seen software do.

I have to quit Safari and restart to make it go away.

Any ideas?

Try troubleshooting Safari extensions and third party plugins.

From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.

Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow all other plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.
