So I installed windows XP via boot camp, loaded all the drivers via my copy of the boot camp drivers disk and windows cannot find. It just keeps asking over and over again. It does it's little searching for new hardware routine and then says there are no drivers then trys to do it again almost immediatly.
TTBOMK, the BootCamp driver CD contains/installs the following drivers and utilities;
ATI Graphics Driver
Bluetooth Kicker Driver
Atheros and Broadcom Wireless Drivers
Yukon Ethernet Driver
Eject CD button map
Sound Driver
Taskbar brightness slider
Startup Disk utility in control panel
I beleive that XP uses it's own power management to display the power/battery status for the MBP. Can you tell us the exact error or driver name that comes up on boot?
It goes to the driver installation wizard and says
"New hardware found: Battery" Then asks if I want to search for and install drivers. It does it's search and then says 'error no drivers found for device Battery.'
I can't tell you much more then that.
