Sony DSR-11 or Panasonic AG-DV2500?

I'm looking to buy a new secondary deck for simple logging and offline capture. I know a lot of you guys use a Sony DSR-11 and claim its the work horse of your set-up. I'm also looking at the Panasonic AG-DV2500. All my other gear is panasonic, so I like that. Also this deck has a RS-422 port, which might come in handy at some point. And its about $100 cheaper than the DSR-11. Does anybody have any experiece with this deck, or can give me a review?
Thanks in advance
Chris

Well I'm taking a chance a little I guess and going with the JVC. After searching through postings about the DSR and the JVC and the Panasonic, they were both about equal in terms of the number of issues people were having and the number of people who liked the decks. So I had to go the one that offered the most features, which was the JVC. The RS-422 and the audio meters are the big differences, and I could see those coming in handy if I wanted to use my old matrox system sometimes to log and capture (Because it doesn't have firewire.)
I'll report back if there are any weird issues or anything. Should have it tomorrow.
Thanks to all that replied.

To clarify a bit.....

PBS spec, for instance, does ask for video levels on digibeta tape in terms of IRE, but, it mentions that these IRE levels relate to the composite video output of the deck, and hence it's asking for analogue levels on analogue images. Given that any DigiBeta deck can correctly, if asked, add analogue setup on playback, this makes sense.

However, they specify component levels in volts, and specify that no setup is to be added.

I hope that helps,

Graeme
