I have an Epson Stylus SXS510W printer/scanner.Now I have installed Maverick and the printer is still working but the scanner does not. Can anyone help with what I must do?
iMac 21" screen, 4G., Mac OS X (10.6.2)
Personally I never use Epson's Scan Software and have always relied on Image Capture in every OS X from 10.4 thru 10.9
Open Image Capture, it's in your Application folder to see if it will not recognize and scan from your Epson.

try "system preferences", go to "print and scan", and select from there.
I also have this problem. Image capture, preview, photoshop and system preferences dont work.
I have the latest OSX and driver software.
