I want to delete all the photos on my iPad.2
Have connected the iPad to my iMac via iTunes, but when I click on the iPad link on the left hand side and 'photos' in the tool bar, there is no 'delete' as far as I can see, only 'sync'
Please tell me the staps necessary to remove all photos.

If the Photos were synced via iTunes, uncheck the option to sync photos and resync
Thanks, Axeman, but no good - the only option is 'sync', both at the top and at bottom right.
Where should a 'delete' option appear?
Connect your iPad to iTunes. Select the iPad from the device list, go to the photos tab and uncheck sync photos the click the sync button
Thanks again sir. This took out everything except a camera roll and a few on Photo Stream, which I guess I can live with.

You can sync just certain photos.
