iPhone not receiving calls

Is there anyone out there that has Sprint for your cell phone and do you have problems with your phone not ringing when you have incoming calls. Mine shoves the call in the "missed call" list. I can have it in my hand and know someone is calling and there is no sound. I am on my umteenth iphone and have called both Apple (sent two phones back) and Sprint and both blame the other. My latest with Sprint is that there are so many calls using our tower, where ever that is is, that my calls are probably getting kicked off. Duh

Mine most of the times give the callers that my phone is off while is not; In fact I can make calls and it's fine. I tried to change the location, but the problem still is not solved! The signal is also fine. I don't know what's wrong with my new iphone 7!!! There's nothing worse more than a new expensive phone can't achieve the very essential job.

Thank you so much my iPhone 5 wasn't receiving calls after an update and I couldn't figure out what was wrong until now. I thought it might have been because I switched to another network recently but now I realised it's not. 😊😊

I had the same problem like that on my Iphone 5c when i place the sim card in my iphone 5c the network its good...but i try to make a call & text all that service not allowed to respond.

when i call its prompt and someone trying to call me still out of network (not reachable) And i cant send text and receive text.

I am having the same issues. I can call my iphone from my other iphone, but most people email to ask why my cell is off....this is crazy.

I went to Apple support and got the "Sorry your cell (6s, one year and 5 days old) is no longer covered. I am really upset, as the iphone is not broke, it is the updates causing the problem. In other words Apple will not stand by their updates. Maybe time to change from Apple.

Thanks the7echos - finally I got my phone receiving call properly - it sounded whacky but it fix my problem! Switching to 2G did the trick Thank You!

This is for everybody who is having problems receiving calls texts etc. it took me a long time talking with Sprint and Apple care and finally it came down to call forwarding if you have accidentally played around with it and it doesn't say stars 720 and says anything else you will not receive anything no calls no text no data nothing please believe when I tell you I spent near 12 hours trying to figure this out I really really really hope this helps you guys... thanks

Yup Changing the carrier from 4G to 3G resolves the issue. Etisalat or that matter many carriers dont support 4G network.

This was bugging the **** out of me, now it seems OK by going to 3G from 4G.

Who would of thought eh.

however, in your case this might have been caused by r-sim cuz the r-sim retailer i met said that certain r-sim users need to change the network to 2G.

thanks buddy !! it worked big time for me 🙂 .. i changed mobile data setting from 4G to 3G ..
