Need some info/help

The light on my atv2 came on out of nowhere, but i didnt turn it on at any point, i switch my TV input to see if it's on (the atv) but it isnt, what is going on!! Anyone??! TX

iPod touch, iOS 5.0.1

I seriously need help on this, it gets anoying seeing that light glowing. I still dont understand why it shows the atv2 off when ligth glows

It's quite normal, the status light will monitor network communications while the Apple TV is asleep.
