The bin format to mp4 format

Hello, can someone tell me how to convert a movie which is .bin format to .mp4 format(ipod) please? i know i can open the movie .bin on my pc, but i dunno how to convert it to ipod format...

thanks for replying... but now there is another problem... when i decompress the movie, it is now in the .dat format... i am using PQ DVD to iPod, but it is trial version... can anyone tell me a freeware that can convert .dat to .mp4?

A .bin file is compressed (like a .zip file). You'll have to uncompress the file before you can convert it.

.dat doesn't sound right for a movie file.

Are there any other files with the movie?

Does the movie play on the computer?

i use winAVI to convert all of my movie files it has a setting on there that is for the ipod and it works on mine hope this helps
